python-mecavideo software package provides pedagogic tool to analyze video records for mechanics, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-mecavideo
python-mecavideo is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-mecavideo package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-mecavideo *
You will get with python-mecavideo package name, version, architecture and description in a table
